Fredy Granillo

is a Salvadoran musician, painter and ceramist.  He graduated from El Salvador’s Autonomous National University in 2012 with a degree in Visual Arts and has exhibited his paintings and ceramic work in El Salvador and the United States.  He has taught ceramics, talavera decorative style painting, and art therapy with incarcerated women and children. He has worked under the sculptor Napoleon Alberto Romualdo on public monuments and led numerous community mural projects. He completed his University thesis with Japanese Archeologist Hiroto Fukuda to recreate the Pre-Colombian Lenca ceramic decorative style. Fredy lives with his wife and son in Chestertown, Maryland.
